A little bit about me.

I am a degree qualified clinical naturopath and certified yoga teacher, with a passion for working with women to help them find their balance. My mission is to help my clients achieve their optimum health and happiness through creating a deep understanding of their own body, and empowering them to listen to (and trust) what it’s telling them in order to take control of their health, energy, mindset and wellbeing.

Optimising health through evidence-based natural medicine, functional medicine, and lifestyle support can have incredible benefits in so many areas of our lives. I create personalised treatment plans for my clients that are achievable, effective and life changing. My job is to help you feel the best you possibly can and to support you to create and maintain a lifestyle that will empower you. There is honestly no greater gift you can give yourself than improved health, and you really do deserve it.

In 2021 I completed a four-year Bachelor of Naturopathy degree at Endeavour College in Brisbane, and am now welcoming new clients to see me as a qualified clinical naturopath and yoga therapist.

A modern approach to traditional medicine.

 Here’s what’s up

As women, all too often we find ourselves working so furiously to keep all the balls in the air that it feels like one ball too many to be looking after ourselves too. But here’s the thing about those balls; if you’re not well, if you’re not balanced, if we keep ignoring the little red flags and pushing through, those balls will inevitably hit the floor. I get it - I’m a mother, I have a job and I’ve been studying full-time for the past four years.

Life is busy and fast and sometimes it just feels easier to leave ourselves till last when there’s so much more to be done.

But finding our balance and wellness is the key to keeping those pesky balls airborne, with the added bonus of also ensuring that we’re enjoying the health and happiness that we deserve. And, with the help of a holistic approach, it’s not as tricky to achieve as you might think.

Health is not about being perfect all the time, it’s about finding the balance that makes you happy and healthy - and I’m here to help you find it!

A little bit more about me.

I live in beautiful Brisbane with my partner, young son, and our two cavoodles, but I grew up in Melbourne. Before settling in Brisbane, I solo-travelled far and wide. I’ve climbed to Everest, yoga’d in India, explored Paris and something something in somewhere else. There is so much wonder in the world and we have so much to learn from each other. I’m an introvert at heart, but love finding meaningful connections with people, which is one of the things I enjoy most about being a naturopath.

I came to study naturopathy as a mature-age student, leaving behind a corporate career to focus on something I am truly passionate about. After years of practicing and teaching yoga and striving for a healthy lifestyle, the study of naturopathy was a natural and exciting next step for me.

When I’m not studying or mixing herbs or generally just nerding out over naturopathy and nutritional biochemistry, I can be found cooking, reading, bushwalking with my boys, indulging my passion for fashion or on the yoga mat. And if you really want to get to know me, check out this article.

I hope to connect with you soon - I hope you’ll find some information and inspiration to help you find your balance here on the site, on my blog and my Instagram page...you’re welcome here any time!

Client Love

“The last seven years of my life have been happily spent being pregnant or breastfeeding my three babies, but when I turned 42 and suddenly had my body back to myself again, I felt a little disconnected from it - and totally exhausted! I was so tired of feeling tired, but didn’t know what to do to change the way I was feeling. My hormones felt out of balance and my body wasn’t responding to diet and exercise in the way that it used to.

Carolyn’s warm, caring and knowledgeable approach was exactly what I needed, and her targeted and practical advice was invaluable. She suggested some tweaks to my nutrition that I hadn’t considered, and the impact those small changes have made on my energy levels, my hormones and my relationship with food has been life changing.

Carolyn really listened, and took the time to understand me and my situation in order to create a treatment plan that I could implement easily. She’s down-to-earth, and goes above and beyond to ensure that her clients feel seen and supported. I highly recommend Carolyn to anyone who feels like they’re not quite at their best. You deserve to feel amazing, and Carolyn can help you get there”.
